P\u0159i odesl\u00e1n\u00ed t\u011bsn\u011b p\u0159ed n\u00e1razem se nepoda\u0159ilo fotografii odeslat kompletn\u00ed sn\u00edmek (23&nbsp;048 byt\u016f) byl rozlo\u017een do \u0161esti paket\u016f, ze kter\u00fdch \u00fasp\u011b\u0161n\u011b dorazily jen t\u0159i pot\u00e9 se sonda rozt\u0159\u00ed\u0161tila o povrch komety. &nbsp;&nbsp;Po mraven\u010d\u00ed tak\u0159ka restaur\u00e1torsk\u00e9 pr\u00e1ci v\u011bdc\u016f se poda\u0159ilo ru\u010dn\u011b z\u00edskat 12&nbsp;228 byt\u016f, co\u017e je skoro polovina p\u016fvodn\u00ed fotografie d\u00edky \u010demu\u017e bylo mo\u017en\u00e9 sn\u00edmek zrekonstruovat. Palubn\u00ed syst\u00e9m sondy kv\u016fli zp\u016fsobu datov\u00e9 komprese nezas\u00edl\u00e1 data pixel od pixelu, ale po vrstv\u00e1ch. Co\u017e umo\u017enuje odes\u00edlat podstatn\u011b detailn\u011bj\u0161\u00ed fotografie.Nakonec se poda\u0159ilo z\u00edskat 53% dat, co\u017e neznamen\u00e1, \u017ee sch\u00e1z\u00ed polovina sn\u00edmku, ale jen rozost\u0159en\u00ed a sn\u00ed\u017een\u00ed kvality sn\u00edmku. Na m\u00edsto komprese v pom\u011bru 1:20, v\u011bdci dos\u00e1hli kompresn\u00edho pom\u011bru 1:38, co\u017e obr\u00e1zek rozost\u0159ilo a vytratili se n\u011bkter\u00e9 detaily.\t\tPosledn\u00ed sn\u00edmekPochopiteln\u011b to souvis\u00ed s&nbsp;technick\u00fdmi parametry kamery OSIRIS, kter\u00e1 nen\u00ed konstruov\u00e1na pro po\u0159izov\u00e1n\u00ed sn\u00edmk\u016f z&nbsp;bezprost\u0159edn\u00ed bl\u00edzkosti. V\u011bdci zkusili vy\u0159adit barevn\u00fd filtr, \u010d\u00edm\u017e se poda\u0159ilo kameru &bdquo;p\u0159eost\u0159it&ldquo; na bl\u00edzko. P\u016fvodn\u00ed domn\u011bl\u00e9 sn\u00edmky po\u0159\u00edzen\u00e9 sondou byli z&nbsp;v\u00fd\u0161ky 23,3 a\u017e 26,2 metr\u016f nad povrchem komety. Posledn\u00ed nov\u011b objeven\u00fd sn\u00edmek je z&nbsp;v\u00fd\u0161ky 17,9 a\u017e 21 metr\u016f o rozm\u011brech jeden kr\u00e1t jeden metr.
